Question New to the forum Problem setting up email for 8800 on a unlocked phone

Please Login to Remove!

I have the software for the phone, also i have upgraded my phone package for the blackberry from orange but the problem is I can't setup my hotmail account for my phone. when i try to setup anew account it says An account already exists for this pin how do i reset this?

I want to reset mypin number or do i have to reset my phone also would that mess up my IMEI as I got this phone unlocked to work on any network?

At the end of the day i want to use my email address on this phone but the thing is it says it will send the password to my device but i don't know where

So could anyone help please

Thanks

That means the previous owner already has that phone linked to an email address. You can't reset your PIN. You should try calling your carrier and see if they can release the pin from the previous account.

I would start with your provider. This can be a real problem. You may need to contact the original owner who has the account still on it.
