Default Urgent Blackberry Help

Please Login to Remove!

Friday night my blackberry left me. as i was using the phone, evrything shut down and a red indicator light came on. ever since then, the red indicator light will come on, and then the blackberry would proceed to attempt to start up, only to shut down again less than three seconds later. this event has been repeating ever since. I originally thought it would be a battery issue, but the battery is fine. it had 90% life on it before the phone broke down on me. Has anyone ever had this issue before?

I called verizon and asked about getting the phone replaced with a different model blackberry because this is the third time i've had problems with the 8800. they refuse to allow me to change models. the other problems that have caused me to replace the phone twice before are

-pearl scroll button stops responding
-phone cannot be turned off without removal of the battery
-hypersensitivity of pearl scroll wheel resulting in a one time record of 65 text messages sent with the letter (a) to a randomly selected contact. (all while i was not touching the phone)

any suggestions?

I'd call another rep at Verizon. That's garbage that they won't let you switch after so many issues and replacements.

Sounds like a lemon. Happens sometimes, but there is no reason for them to refuse to exchange it with problems like that!

should i bother fighting with verizon? or do you think it would be easier to go straight to RIM on this one? i feel like verizon is just gonna follow protocol. and i simply dont have the patience for verizons bull.

RIM won't do anything - you have to deal with the carrier.
