Default Outlook 03 Recurring Appt Sync Issues

One of our users, with an 8703e in a BES environment syncing between Exchange/Office 03, reports that sometimes when he deletes an occurrence from a recurring appointment through the desktop, that it does not delete from the handheld. Has anyone else seen this or have a solution?

Do you know if the user has delegates (Outlook) that are reviewing the calendar?

Yes. The user's secretary has delegatory rights and full mailbox access through AD.
