Red face overriding device language setting

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Is it possible for an application to override the device's default language setting.

For example, say the language setting in device is French and the user of my application wants to use Spanish.Is it possible to override the device setting from my application. I want the rest of the applications running on the device to be in default language.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sen.

Thumbs up Overriding device language settings

Hi,

I think I found a way for overriding the device default language setting.

import net.rim.device.api.i18n.Locale;

Locale.setDefault(Locale.get(Locale.LOCALE_es));

if you have set your device language as, say English, the above code would overwrite the language setting and displays ur application data in Spanish.
