Unhappy no signal

Can somebody help me. My bb8800 is unlocked as I confirmed that thks to this forum but still dont have any signal can somebody tell me if this problem can be fixed

Unlocked, good.

By no signal, what do you get on the device... "sos", "no signal" or what?

What kind of voice and/or data plan do you have on the account for the SIM?
