I must be missing something. The phone rebooted cause I was adding some applications and the screen is on but it's saying off in the upper right corner. I've taking the battery out, hit the power button(so I thought) and it still won't come back on. I'm a new BB user so forgive me. Any help. thanks.

Go to your manage connections icon and and put a check in the mobile network box.

That will happen if the batter runs too low. I am not sure why in your case. Also, the battery pull should have fixed that (if you pulled the battery while the device was still powered on).
