The new Viigo 3.0 beta is freakin' great.

Shameless self-plug for it:

You could also use SportsAlert - Get free text message sports score updates on your cell phone once you create an account you can pick your teams in any sport, and pick how often to be notified. For example you can choose at the any score change, end of each quarter of just final score, etc. for football. For MLB you can choose end of the 3rd, 6th, and 9th innings, or just final scores, etc. Sports alert is free, and it send you a text message for the score updates.

i've tried viigo, but it's only for scores (which is what you asked for)... but being a fantasy junkie, i need stats too. so the best place i've got is espn.
