Default Problem with hang ups when phone is holstered

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever my 8830 is in the holster and i get a phone call, it won't ring more than twice before going to voice mail. Otherwise, it rings 5 or 6 times. Is there a setting I can adjust? Is it because the keypad disconnects me when I try to pull it out of the holster?

Try this:

Profiles>Advanced>choose whichever profile is active>Phone>
scroll down to the "In Holster" section and change the "Number of Vibrations" to the highest number available (mine is set to 3).

If you use multiple profiles, you'll want to change the number of vibrations for those, too.

Hope that helps.

From my experience, when the phone is set to vibrate+ring, more vibrations means fewer rings. With the older OS, the phone vibrates first and then rings. Perhaps that's the problem here. My phone vibrates, and then rings twice, maybe three times before going to voicemail. Perhaps the best solution is to turn vibrate off altogether. As suggested, that's in your profile settings.
