Default load 4.3.1 on bb 8800??? help?!

under "about" on my bb 8800, it says i'm running v4.2.1.79 but i d-loaded 4.3.1. how do i load the 4.3.1 onto my phone so in the "about" it says i'm running 4.3.1. by the way, the purpose of this is so i can run my 8gb micro schc. thanks

Well they don't make 4.3 for the 8800 that might be your problem, are you sure of that.

i've only had a bb for a few days. i dont really know what to do. what OS versions work for the bb 8800. and if so, can you show me the link so i can d-load it?

you have to install operating systems that are specific for your device. An operating system for the 8820 or 8300 will not work if you are using an 8800.

go here for the latest beta 4.5 OS (this will let you use the entire 8gb) -

follow the instructions in the post.

BTW, the download page is in french. when you see the text 'Je confirme que les informations ci-dessus sont correctes et jour' choose 'Oui'.. you can leave everything else as the default.
