Default Loading program onto media card on 8830

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I did not see it.

I have the 8830 and am trying to load, OTA, a program that says it is specifically for a media card via OTA. When I go to load it there is no option to put it on the media card and I am wondring if anyone knows how I can get this program onto the media card? Is this possible? Thanks

There are no applications that load to the Media Card... They must run in the Device Memory.

There is one... that loads other applications FROM your media card to your device memory.

Default Apps to media card

If I can get it on device memory can I get it on the card then? Reason I ask, is I am having trouble moving music files from device memory onto media card - well I can get the files onto the card but cannot get the desktop manager to allow me to delete the file from the device memory-which defeats the purpose of moving it in the first place. Hope that make sense. Thanks for your help.

Go to your Media icon, click on it > Menu > Explore.

Find the music file (don't open or play it) and highlight over it > Menu > Move, and navigate to your Media Card and drop the music file in the Music folder of the Media Card.

Default Media Card Files

Great! I'll try that-will be tom. Will let you know. Thanks so much for your help. Sometime you look at the problem so long you just cannot figure it out. Thanks again.

Been there, done that.

I spent four hours looking at a spread sheet yesterday trying to determine where the extra digits in a cell field were coming from.

Finally, I just truncated the data to the three decimal places I needed and went on along my merry way!

But I would still like to know where those extra 7-8 digits came from
