Default Email messages randomly disappearing

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and would really appreciate some advice. I'm on a 8708g which I've been happily using for almost 2 years, but it started having this 'randomly timed disappearing email' problem about a week ago.

So on the advice of the guy who came in to look at my Mac I changed to operating system 4.2.1.94 - which almost drove me mental because I lost my beloved Wave-List theme - and which doesn't seem to have solved my problem...
I have the keep messages limited to a modest 15 days and don't use many of the applications - but I do have a large address book.

I have File Free: 23964588... is this enough or do I need to upgrade to a newer handset?

The memory should be fine. I take it this started after the OS upgrade.

Hello, I'm back again - this time I've upgraded to the new 9000, thinking that my contact book might have been chewing up memory. But NO, just after Synchronization this has happened again. Can anyone help?

If you've tried two handsets and they're doing the same thing, to me it suggests it's server related..

Hi Paul, it seems now that the messages disappear once I've logged on and read them on my computer. Is there a way I can stop this? I've got 'keep for 30 days' selected but they just vanish. Can you explain what you mean by it being server related?
