Default 8700c UPGRADED 4.2.1.96

Please Login to Remove!

I just upgraded to this version and seem to have lost some functions. I was with att, unlocked the phone and went with t mobile... My center browser button no longer works after the upgrade and seems the left side button on the phone brings up "enable PTT" ...any help or links to view the new software would be appreciated.

You will need to reset those options. Go to Options > Screen/Keyboard to reset the convenience key settings.

Thanks! but when I try to click on browser it states that I need to contact my service provider which i'm on the phone with right now and they see everything just fine..as far as my data plan goes. Did something on this new update disable this browser feature?

You may need to register on the routing tables. Go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Register Table. Select a table, click the scroll wheel, then select Register Now.

Also, log in to your carrier's BlackBerry Internet Service web site and resend the service books to the device.

Thanks alot! I'm getting farther on this with you than their over the phone support..haha I totally appreciate it..! Is there a function for my del button on this phone? It seems that it's disabled..

It looks like T mobile does not carry this phone since i've unlocked it from cingular and went to t mobile. So which carrier should i go and resend the service books ?

Now should I have downloaded the new OS from 8700g from the T mobile site on my 8700c phone? I upgraded the OS from the att site and i think it reset some settings or maybe my pin back to att, and I believe this is whats causing my browser not to work.
