Default New 7290 on Rogers-- Need BES advice please

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased a 7290 from Rogers on the "unlimited" plan. I have read through thousands of postings on the forum and think this is a great source of information. I still have a few questions. SOme are answered throughout the site, but seem contradicted through other postings. In any event, I am somewhat confused so I really appreciate any feedback!

I would like to set up a 'virtual' exchange host and BES server. I understand that Rogerts does not offer this, so i was considering link2exchange.

I have a domain registered and hosted with THey handle my email, web hosting, etc. But they do not have exchange let alone BES. I want to leave them as my main hosting service, but would like to use link2exchange as my exchange/BES provider.

Does anyone use a third party exchage/BES and maintain their hosting on a different server such as I propose? Can an exchange account be set up so that it looks like outgoing mail is coming from the other address which is hosted at

FYI-- Internic does not allow the DNS addresses to be split up- ie: MX terminating to link2exchange and website to

Any feedback would be great!

What you need to do is have your email from your current webhost forwarded to the exchange/bes hoster. With that done you can set your reply address to your regular email.
