Default PocketDay Professional, any thoughts

Please Login to Remove!

I'm about to receive my 7100t, switching from a regular phone plus a PockePC into one phone/PDA unit. I like almost everything I've read about this unit.

Has anyone used the PocketDay Professional as a Today starting page ? I downloaded it for a trial from Handango. Are you satisfied with the native Today capability ?

yes there is quite a number of us using it as a start screen. Id say its one of the best programs you can use.

Only thing is that you cannot make it your default home screen (unless I missed it)...

Also for some reason it wasn't syncing with the number of messages I was getting. It would say I had an unopened message, even though I already went in and opened it. I'm sure I could've fixed it if I took the time, but ended up just unistalling the demo.

PD functions as a default home screen if you go into the Utility Settings and set "Show PD after x minutes" to the desired number of minutes.

Good program, and the developer has proven to be receptive to user comments and responsive to user needs.

Pez,

You can't really get a home screen replacement on the current BB. PD does provide you with the next best thing...the ability to make PocketDay your standby screen. Go to the PocketDay Settings then scroll down to Utility Settings. Set the Show PD after x minutes to a 1.

Now every minute PocketDay will re-appear if it's not currently the active app.
