porting number, please advise-any special stuff to do? thanks in advance for any help! because a BB isn't just a normal phone, are there any special hoops to jump through when you port your number to another provider? I get shitty reception and connectivity with T mobile, and i need to get some other service. what do i have to do that is weirder than just a normal phone # port when you just go to the new provider's website and all that? thanks! |
shouldnt be an issue at all the phone works just like any other phone |

Your device will be locked to only work witht the t mobile service. If you are in good standing with your provider and have been for 90 days you can request the unlock code from t mobile. There is a lot of good information out here about this problem, run a search and read up on it. Good luck |
kayak I dont think he has a bb yet I think he wants to port his number to a new carrier and get a bb if i read it right i may be mistaken but thats what i got out of the post. |

Oh that could be. I can see how you got that. Well, between you and me, we covered all of the bases. |
yeah, i've had a 7100T for a year with t mobile, but i'm always out of coverage and i'm ready to switch to Verizon, so i guess i will need to talk to T mobile or get a new number, eh? |
