i recently got a gmail account, and have set it up so i receive forwarded mail from gmail through outlook to my blackberry. i want to be able to reply to email with my gmail account even though it's routed through outlook. is that possible?

Are you using redirector for this? It would be much easier just to pop your gmail account. If you are using redirector, you shouldn't have a problem if you are already set up to send via gmail smtp from outlook.

you cant change the email address its from depending on the address you want to use unless you are on bes then you can have seperate accounts to send from. You would be better of forwarding all gmail straight to the bb

if youre not on the BES, the easiest way to pop gmail is via webclient...in webclient you can specify your sent from address when sending mail

but it will still show he is sending form the bb

Gmail works great with BB Webclient. You are able to only reply from 1 address of your choosing right now. However, BlackBerry Webclient is going away. A new version will be out soon that will allow you to reply from the email address the message was sent to even with multiple account. The Webclient sites are going away. All emails will be managed through your BlackBerry device. This might only be fore T-Mobile customers though.

i just have my hotmail forwarded to my BB account through the hotmail options...

I can add my yahoo account - to T-Mobile website however when I try adding rocketmail account , now owned by Yahoo it gives me this error:

An error occured during e-mail account validation.
Please check your information and try again.
If the error persists please contact your e-mail account provider.

Yahoo kept our e-mail addresses same and gave us username.rm as our id's when they bought rocketmail years ago. My account works when I login to rocketmail account at mail.yahoo.com, so I know my password is working. Does any one else have rocketmail account with same issue? Who do I contact, RIM or T-Mobile?
