Default vzw 7250, disable phone?

i have a 7250 with just the data plan. is there a way to turn off the phone feature altogether? i have no intention of making phone calls at the off-plan rates, and would rather not accidentally pick up when someone dials the wrong number (keep getting this hispanic lady looking for her mother).

Not without eliminating your chances for transmitting data. The only feature I know of similar to what you're looking for would be turning off the wireless, but you won't receive any emails, SMS messages, PIN messages, etc.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6310i: Nokia6310i/1.0 (7.00) Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Link/6.2.3.15.0)

You can remove the phone app in application loader. Keep in mind you will not be able to make emergency calls. If you were on GSM i would suggest using your FDN list. Alas, CDMA, what can you do...

Why not just go to Profiles, Phone and change Out of Holster and In Holster notification to NONE. This way your phone will not be disabled but you will not get a notification if a call comes in from your hispanic lady looking for her mother.

Call Verizon and tell them to block incoming calls on your number. Or you can have Verizon totally disable voice call.
