Default 7250 keypad lighting up at night on charger....

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
I have a 7250 that i keep on my nightstand to charge at night. I've noticed the keypad lights up at different times. Is there a way to disable this?
I checked out the bb and sometimes I don't have email so I don't think it's an email 'warning" or anything
Any help would be appreciated - it does catch my eye at night and wake me up.
Thanks!
Steve

the light goes on when it is fully charged, it then runs off the outlet power until you unplug it. the light will go out by its'self

Kids - stay in school, this could happen to you.

you know i think maybe bblight might help. or just set the the light for the lowest time in the settings. or put the phone faceing away from you when you sleep so you dont see the light. i dont know why it turns on. i have the 7520 and dont have problems but i do use bblight. hmm who knows. try some different things and see what happens

I'm sensitive to this type of thing too. Very light sleeper.

My solution...put BB on nightstand screen side down. Not very techie, but it does the job.

I use BB light and it still happens. I was thinking that it was happening when I dropped/gained connection as I'm in a fringe area and that happens pretty often.

Ah yes, that very well could be it. All I can say is sleep facing away from it.

I have experienced this same problem, but it seems to only happen when I'm using my car charger (the iGo universal charger from RadioShack). The BB's backlight will turn on every few minutes for no apparent reason. This does not seem to coincide with any data transfer, incoming/outgoing messages, or other network activity like entering or leaving the coverage area. I'm using the Sprint-branded 7250. BBLight does not fix this activity, and in fact it seems to happen more often since I installed BBLight.

I have the same problem where it just lights up for no reason in the middle of the night. No luck on figuring it out yet.

Well at night I sleep, and I order my BB to sleep like a good little boy or girl since it will have a very full and busy day the next day (it needs its beauty sleep), and then I place it to bed (actually place it inside the holster, where the magnet does it stuff) and if somehow it manages to on its own still find a way to turn itself on I would not know it or notice it. <WEG>

My 7250 does this, too. I've concluded that it (the light) turns on whenever the Blackberry checks for messages or RSS stuff. Doesn't hurt a thing, IMHO.
