help please to remove IT Policy from my 7100v.

I've tried to wipe it and using JL comander.

any other sugestions???

I have tried the removing it by that method too. Still the IT Policy is enabled when I typed BUYR on status. anything else?

The above process doesn't actually remove the IT policy, despite the name of the article.
It merely pushes a blank, non-restrictive policy to your device.

Do you have an IT Policy listed here?
Options > Security Options > General Settings

nope, I don't see any IT Policy enabled on that place.

That thread is the only known way to remove an IT Policy.

Two questions - what is the BUYR - I've never heard of it.
Why do you feel there is an IT Policy on it?

when you type B Y U R at the Option-status-(type BUYR), there are two posibilities that will be shown on the screen. first the amount of data and voice usage (it means your handheld doesn't have any IT Policy) or second option will be shown IT Policy Enabled. I feel there is an IT Policy cause when I tried to Install Opera Mini on it, then the connection was refused because of there is an IT Policy on my Handheld.

well, so far that's all I know about IT Policy. any sugestions probably???

I was able to remove an IT policy by downloading version 4.6 of desktop manager and syncing with it. I did lose my contacts, but it was still better than having and IT policy on it wanting a password every 2 minutes.
