Default 8830 And Ford Sync-Volume Bar Stuck 2/3 Down?

I have 8830 and sync'd with Fords Sync. Clients can barley hear me. Noticed that my 8830 volume indiactor when sync'd defaults 2/3 down. I have default volume set at 100% and ehanced audio disabled. Trouble shooted with verizon and actually sent new phone. I have my frien has same car and phone and his volume is at 100% on blackberry when connected to sync. Ford dealer says all is ok. Any body have any idea on problem and solution? I have to disconnect from sync to talk to people. Appeciated, thanks.

Not sure...what ringer/volume profile is your phone set to when you're in the car? I have an 8830 and using Ford Sync as well with absolutely no problems. Often people can't even tell I'm in the car talking through Sync.

Seems to me that if you have the same problem with two different phones, it's probably not the phone. I know the dealer said all is OK, but then again who knows. You should connect your 8830 to your friend's car who also has Sync - if the problem is there it's a bad phone...if not it's your car.
