I'm using the Blackberry-provided email function, but I would like to set it up so that when a recipient of the email sent from my 7100t gets an email it appears as though it is "from" my main work email address, and not the blackberry address.
How do I do that?
I've searched through all the menus on my 7100t and find no alias options.
(on my Sidekick the option was easy, but cannot find it on the 7100t)

Log into the blackberry web client and you can change the From: address there.

It's a setting in BIS. You can change it in Options at www.t-mobile.com/bwc for now, but after October 2nd, the BIS site is coming down and you should be able to set it from the BB

I would like to do the same.... I use Cingular and I'm new to BB and I can't seem to figure out where to change the alias. I guess I'm just a little slow.

Log in to your Blackberry Web Client (the web site provided by your provider), go to the Profile page. Select 'Sent From Address' and you can put in whatever address you want.
