We are a larger international company with several hundred employees. We rely on the lookup function from AD rather than the contact list on the BB to store employee contact numbers. We are only using the 8830 models in New Zealand.
Using Contacts, then Lookup the BB retrieves the contact information and telephone numbers from the AD.
The problem is that at times some BBs display partial infromation like the name, email, address etc BUT NOT phone numbers. While other BBs function perfectly displaying all information and numbers.
Occasionally none of the BBs can get any numbers through, then the next day as by magic it works again.
Problem, as always is that the affected users are always senior management that rely on the information to contact key people.
Any idea why it affects some 8830 sometimes and all at other times?
