Default 7100g and Blue Tooth

Please Login to Remove!

Okay...I'm a little slow to jump on the bandwagon (I'm just getting my bluetooth headset today).

My question is this: Can I synch my Blackberry to my HP tablet PC through the bluetooth connection? My tablet has bluethooth, my 7100 has bluetooth....I hate the USB cable. When I get a call on my cell at work I don't want to have to disconnect the 7100 from the synch cable to take the call (the cable is long enough but gets in the way).

The headset should help, but I really want to get rid of the cable.

Also...the holster is cut so the speaker is out but is there a way to answer the phone (either with the bluetooth headset or the speaker phone) while the balckberry is still in the holster??

Thanks,

There's a whole Bluetooth forum dedicated to just BT questions. At this time, you can not sync your BB using Bluetooth. Today you can only use the BT for wireless headsets and for some new BT keyboards. No other BT data transfers.

Yes, you can answer the phone with a bluetooth headset without removing the blackberry form the holster.

What about answering with the speakerphone while holstered? I've looked everywhere and can't find it....I've tried pressing any and all of the buttons when the phone rings to no avail.....thanks in advance.

It's completely exposed....I originally thought that was done on purpose so you could use it while holstered (attatched to a car visor or something like that)....

Even if you could do it... the microphone is behind the keyboard, so speakerphone while holstered would be completely useless.
