Default PowerMax Wireless - Anyone Ever Use It?

Please Login to Remove!

I can use some help as a new 7100T user. My office is just below ground level and I can't receive a signal for my BB at work. I've read about the PowerMax DA400SBR which is an antenna and repeater. The product claims.

You can now speak and be heard clearly on a cell phone inside marine vessels, RVs, homes and offices without feeling tied down. Digital Antenna’s PowerMax DA4000SBR increases signal strength and improves cellular communication without a physical connection to cell phone. This amplifier/repeater also boosts the performance and range of your cell phone up to 50 miles.

First, has anyone every used this product? Just as important does anyone have knowledge of an easier way to bring the T-Mobile signal into my office? The cost of the Power Max is about $500. I do have signal strength outside of the building and on the first level which is above my office.

thank you.

you need fairly good signal strength outside to use this. I have -98 dbm and it does not work at all. They don't tell you this until AFTER you buy the unit. If you have reasonable strength outside it should work OK
