According to my Nextel/Sprint account rep. for my company. The 7100 series will be released by their company on October 1st, 2005. Can't wait.

I may do the same. I tried Tmobile's with no success and if bored, I may go to a Cingular store, but I cannot deny that my 7520 always got great service. I just want something slimmer.

I was wrong, the release date has been pushed back to October 6th.

October 6th, should be along side the 930.

Anyone know if apps from the 7520 will go right on the new 7100? And will we need a new Desktop app???

desk top will most likely be same but I did here that it will have the new 4.1 software on it so some apps may now work

The new release date is 10/17 now. They were having issues with the push to talk, so it got pushed back. This release date has been finalized though.
