Default Blackberry 7100g questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all I have a few questions regarding the blackberry 7100g

1. is there a flightmode on the 7100g Blackberry, or is it a matter of just turning the wirless off?? when onboard a plane

2.Is there a specific manual just for the 7100g not just for the 7100 series?

3. also when moving files in outlook 2003 from your inbox to other folders eg pst, sub folders, other mailbox's. is there any reason why the message doesnt get moved or deleted from the blackberry, beacuase at present the message gets moved in outlook but not in blackberry. Yes the settings seem fine on the blackberry eg delete on mailbox an handheld so I cannot figure it out??

any help would be great?

Cheers

1) You can either turn the aentenna off and leave everything else on or simply hold down the black button on top for a few seconds to turn the whole thing off.

2) Yes....http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgec...owse&sort=name

3) I use Notes, not Outlook, so I don't think I could answer properly.

Try upgrading your Desktop Manager s/w. I had similar issues that seemed to go away when I did that. I am running 4.0.1.10

Did you ever figure out a fix for this?
My company is running a BES server and this really ticks me off too. I get about 200+ emails each day and I often file them away into sub-folders or personal folders in Outlook, but those message just end up getting suck on the handheld. Almost like the BES software is doing a check between the inbox and the deleted items folder before it claims that an email has been deleted. This is completely unacceptable in mind mind.
