Default How to add a pause in a phone number

Please Login to Remove!

I have not been able to find information on adding a pause into a string of numbers for the speed dial. I searched and read the manual with no luck.

Can anyone assist me?

Thanks,
Stuart

Hit the comma key and it'll put in a weird looking P for you... thats the pause

Beside pause, you can also find wait useful, see this link for info on both:

I am wondering why you dug up this three year old thread?

The info at your link is not true for most BBs today.

When dialing and you need place a pause or wait in the dial, one option is to click the menu and key and "insert pause" or "insert wait".

I have the 7100i. It doesn't have the 'insert pause' feature on the menu but both the pause (,) and the wait (!) functions work. What is the difference between them?

pause is two seconds pause, then it continues to dial the string of pre-entered digits

A wait stops the dialing string until user interaction
