Whew! It sure takes a lickin'
I was crossing a street yesterday and the light started to change so I thought I'd better turn my walk to a jog. As I was jogging my 7100t wiggled out of its case and fell to the asphault bouncing about 4 times before it just layed there. I think my heart actually skipped a beat. It has a couple of nicks on the corners but other than that it looks great and performs perfectly. Glad it didn't break. Any of you have any horror stories?

on my third one
be careful it just has to hit just right, and the screen will crack. I learned the hardway also I had purchased a warranty that was invalid because it is determined to be a pda and the policy doesnt cover screens on pdas only phones

rlibson - do you use any sort of case or holder. We have almost 1000 BlackBerrys here and very, very few damaged ones. We find the BB to be much more durable than the Treos.

I keep the phone in my pocket. 1st one the microphone broke, when I called someone I could hear them, but not vice-versa, second fell from roughly 2.5 feet and the screen cracked. The third one just conked out on me this morning. The battery was draining superfast yesterday, and this morning when I unhooked it from the charger it is dead. I love the phone, but have found that it was smart to keep my moto v70 around for backup.

Had a frozen water in my cup holder that sweat all day, didn't even drink it, well that evening I brought the water in before heading out. Well I have a habit of putting my BB 7100t in the cup holder so if it rings I can just glance down and see who it is. Well when I got to my destination and picked up my BB the screen didn't come on and it felt wet! Come to find out I had a 1/2 inch of water in my cup holder well that night I took out the battery and laid it out to dry overnight. Said a prayer before going to bed, well that morning the Good Lord answered because I put the battery back in and it turned on and has worked great since.
