Cool ?? Setting up multiple email accounts on the BB7100g & sending

Please Login to Remove!

I know you can set up more than 1 email address on the BB web client site from Cingular, but how can you choose which address to send an email out from on the BB?

I am trying to have work and personal emails go to my BB, but I want to be able to reply back to people from my personal address when they email to that address and be able to reply back to people from my work address when they send it to that address.

Example:

[email address]

[email address]

Both go to the BB and the BB is set up in the web client to use the personal for the address which I want to be my "sent from address"

Can you have 2 sent from addresses stored so people see your personal when you reply to personal emails and then on the flipside people that email the work see the work address on the reply?

You can only send from one email address using the BB web client. Sorry.

But if you have BES and webclient (aka, corporate work email, and personal web email) on the same device, how can you specify which one it sends out through?

Thanks,

L

Is there a way to set a default web client vs desktop?

Thanks,

If you're using the BB web client you can only have one 'Sent From' address. However you can have multiple 'Reply to' addresses and select between them using a freeware piece of software called BBReply (search these forums for the link).

I've set my 'Sent From' address as my work address and then change the Reply To address for personal email.

if you go to Options->Message services, i believe you set the default, i.e., web client or desktop
