To get ringtones on this phone with ur internet off. I just got this phone and won't be able to hook to the interne for a week or two. But I want to get some good ringtones on here. Do I have any other options?

Also I thought the blackberry calendar would link to the blackberry software on my computer...is that now the case?

No to the ringtone question, you need to download them from a site. The blackberry synchs with outlook by using the desktop manager, not with the desktop manager.

I think that Evanllyone is suggesting to download rings tones with a computer. You browse to the ring tone on your blackberry, not with a pc.

Of course you need to find them first, which might need a pc.

Default ringtone downloads from T-Mobile USA

even without the blackberry internet plan, if you have T-Mobile voice service in the U.S. you should be able to download ringtones from the T-Zones WAP site, but they sound corny and are too expensive.

Really!? T-Mobile support just told me that the 7100t (or any blackberry) won't support T-Zones (WAP).

I find that "fact" unfathomable.

I'm a hardware guy, not a software guy... But if it's a bit of software, why would WAP support not be included in the system software?

There's gotta be a hack for WAP access on the BlackBerry somewhere.

Are you sure? Without a BlackBerry Data Plan, your BB will never go past gprs - meaning it will not get to GPRS. At gprs you have voice and SMS. Are you saying you have successfully used the T-Zones browser/WAP while not having a BlackBerry Data Plan?
