Exclamation Office Apps for 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

I looking forward to buying one (I'm a little behind I know) and would like to know if I can edit Excel and Word files on a 8700c. What office apps will enable me to do this? I'm a teacher, and I want to write down daily scores of my students for weekly averaging, which is why I want Excel on my soon-to-be BB!

Thank you for your time!

Not a lot of screen real estate to do much editing etc of Word and Excel documents.

OS 4.5 includes Docs To Go which will allow you to do what you wish. There is also a program called eOffice which costs about 4100.

My suggestion is to search on MS Office and see what you find. This has been covered before.

OS 4.5? I'm at 4.3, but I do have another question: Is the update 100% safe? What would happen if an error showed during the update? Would my device be rendered useless? Although the Docs to Go sounds pretty tempting, but my lack of BB exp. makes me wonder. I'm gonna try it out and check in with results later. Thank you very much for your answer.

You could brick the device if you don't follow the instructions. Not likely, but can happen. If you are unsure, then buy eOffice and go that route.

''brick the device'' hahaha!

I installed Grid Magic and it works out just fine. I downloaded the update but I'm not really in a rush to install it, thanks anyways!
