Just the past few weeks, I have noticed my blackberry response time has slowed down to a crawl. By response time, I mean the functions on the handheld. When I try to open an email or a text it freezes up and take 10-15 seconds to open. It used to be pretty much instantaneous. I assumed it was due to lack of memory or something so I deleted all of my old emails and most of my old text messages but it is still running REALLY slow. It started a few weeks ago. When it first started, I powered the handheld off completely and then re-started it (assuming it may be a network issue or something). That seemed to fix it for a few days but it started running slow again. Now the re-start doesn't even work. Any ideas?

Did you try a full reboot? Remove the battery and re-install.
