Default bberry not syncing with outlook cal

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,
I have DM 4.7 and OS 4.5.0.101 for my 8830. I had some new appointments in there today and when I tried to do a sync nothing got copied over to my outlook calendar. Then i treid adding something new to the calendar and sync that but that didn't show up on my berry. It's not even showing me the prompt to add or remove things!

I even reset my synchornization and tried adding stuff. I can add numbers and edit them, which will show up on synchronization but not for the calendar. Any thoughts?

hmmm...try a bttery pull on your Berry, then check the calendar to see if the new items are there. Might also check in your Berry calendar under "Options" to confirm that your e-mail address is showing correctly.

I will try this...just pulled the battery but not home to sync. Also I made to sure to remove all my ICALs so everything would stay on one calendar.

btw i installed DM 4.6, 4.7 and went back to 4.2. I wiped my calendar on my phone and it still doesn't sycn. I am starting to think it's OS 4.5.0.101? I'm getting a new phone again next week with the old OS (4.2.0.x..) so i can try to see if it syncs correctly.

What version of Outlook are you using? 4.6 and 4.7 only work with 2003 and 2007. Maybe 4.5 also. I know 4.2 works with the earlier versions and Windows 2000/XP/Vista (using DM 4.2 SP2)

I had this problem and found the resolution somewhere but can't find it to post.

In short, on 4.5 you will have to delete the calendar service books for gmail on the blackberry. Then go to the calendar options and make sure under Calendars you only have Device Default.

I'll try to find the original post but hopefully this gets you started. It's very simple to do.

I actually made sure all my cal service books were there and then it finally worked. I was able to sync everything. Also DM 4.7 with outlook 03.

I actually don't even see my device default under calendars...LOL oh well it works.
