Modem Drivers for 7250

Hi everyone,

I have the 7250 from Bell and the modem drivers did not get included with the disc. I tried updating the Desktop Manager and that didn't help either.

I need the driver to use the internet on a laptop.

Can anyone tell me where to download the drivers, or can someone zip up the modem folder and send it to me?

You cannot use a CDMA Blackberry as a modem (currently).

The 7250 will respond to Hayes AT commands--so it's obvious that there is indeed a modem built into the device. However, AFAIK, no CDMA carrier has enabled this functionality yet.

There are rumours that the 7250 is upgradeable to EVDO with a forthcoming OS. However, there has been no word on whether or not modem capability will be introduced.
