I recently installed telenav 5.1 on my Sprint 8830 and have noticed that since I installed it, the battery doesn't last as long as it used to. Has anyone else had this happen?

Are you using Telenav alot? I have telenav set to keep the display on when navigating. That eats alot of battery. I also use a GPS puck since I'm with Verizon and Bluetooth is also power hungry. Even so I never kill the battery in a day and recharge every night anyway. I think all of this is normal though.

Telenav is a kick butt application... I couldn't live with out it.

it is a serious battery hog. I use it a lot, and have to keep it plugged in while in the car. One thing, when you are done with it, exit all the way out of the program...otherwise, it will keep running in the background and use your battery.
