I have one. Its great if you are away from an ac outlet and need to use blue tooth frequently but I haven't actually measured how many hours it will last.
It will make your BB a kittle thicker so keep that in mind for buying a case. With the extended battery my BB now fits my leather Treo case nearly perfectly.

I got a standard-sized spare battery and the external charger, instead. The external charger can also function as the original charger -- it has a USB port on it. That way I have one battery in the phone and one on deck. I really don't want that device to be any thicker than it already is.

I use the extended battery and have noticed a tremendous difference. I am a heavy data and BT user, and I can last for several days on one charge -- invaluable when traveling!

I also got it an noticed a huge difference - it fits in the case I use fine - the one mentioned in another post in the forum that you can buy from eBay. I can go 2-3 days without a charge now where I had to do it nightly because I did use email and data a lot.
