7100r Poor Outgoing Quality
 

Hello, I have had this BB for alittle while and have had no issues with the incomming volume, but people on the other line tell me that i sound like i'm cutting in and out. The signal is great. I have no ideas or is this one of the issues with the 7100r? I have the Latest software loaded on my device v4.0.0.219.

i am having the same problem. as a phone this thing sucks! does anyone have any suggestions to improve the reception and outgoing calls? I am extremely disappointed with this phone, but i need to have email access 24/7.

Had the same problem on my Cingular 7100g. I upgraded to the latest firmware. I tend to talk loud. When people started saying I was distorted, I found out that if your volume is turned up all the way, it MAY create feedback between the speaker and microphone. Call a buddy, adjust the volume control up and down while speaking more softly. That fixed my issue.
