Default Missing Browser Solution??

Please Login to Remove!

Well, I am not sure if this has already been posted, or if this is even the correct section but I recently changed my device from a Blackberry Curve 8330, to a Blackberry 8830 World Edition (all on Sprint PCS network) after the device switch my Blackberry Browser went missing. From 8pm to 4 30am resending service books, re-registering on Blackberry network I got nothing until...

I went to -> Options
Then-> Mobile Network
Data Services -> On
Mobile Network -> Your Service Provider (so for me Sprint PCS)

Now with your Mobile Network highlighted, hit the menu button then press 'Start Provisioning'

After provisioning successful give it a few seconds and the browser should pop-up..

After the Blackberry Browser pops up, remember to Resend Your Service Books, or else its gonna say that the browser is not configured

If this does not work, contact your service provider and have them find an alternative to provision your data services, or remove your plan and apply it back to your account (read that somewhere)

Wirelessly posted (World Edition thats not ttavel)

Sprint says it takes a few hours 'till data is registered. Sometimes patience is the best solution.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8330)

This happened with my Curve, too. I called Verizon, they said it should be working fine, I have a data plan, etc. They sent me to tech support - had me reset my phone, hard pull, soft, blah - everything. I was on the phone for over an hour. Nothing.

I went back to the store, told them everything - they gave me a new phone, all together.

I assume that there is a manufacturing/programming flaw that's causing a few to be... Defective.

Just go to the store and get a replacement. Its not really worth all the aggravation.
