I have been looking for answers ... including browsing away these forums for my BB-8820. So this is my first post .. and I hope somebody would not mind to throw a light for me..

Anyway, My BB (8820) ... is unlocked from AT&T and now I am using it with Rogers. No Data Plan.

I have been trying to use and connect a Wi-Fi.. I have tried almost all of the options. What I get right now is that The RIM BlackBerry Wi-Fi network connection is turned on, but the RIM BlackBerry is not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

So the Wi-Fi icon is grey instead of blue.
