Angry Unable to send text messages to non-t-mobile users

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8700g with T-mobile. I'm having issues with sending sms to non t-mobile users.I can receive their sms but they cannot receive mine. I'm able to send and receive with T-mobile and international carriers. When I use my sim card with another T-mobile phone I do not have this issue, so it has to be something I'm missing in my phone. I have tried wiping out my device, installing a new handheld software but all the efforts are not resolveing the issue thus far. Does anybody know how to resolve this? When I use my sim card with another T-mobile phone I do not have this issue, So it has to be something I'm missing in my phone.

Did you send Service Books from your BIS after wiping device?

I actually I figured it out. I went to Options-SMS text, then changed "network to send over" to PS Preferred, and now I can send and receive to/from all carriers. Originally when I upgraged the software it defaulted to CS which resulted into the problems our having even though it showed that messaged were sent. Resending service book without changing this didn't help.
