Default Moving Service from T-Mobile to AT&T

Please Login to Remove!

I have an unlocked Blackberry 8800 running V.4.5 Device software. I am switching my wireless service from T-Mobile to AT&T.

How do I reconfigure the device for the new service provider? Do I need to re-install the device software? Do I need to change any vendor files on the Desktop software?

Thanks for your help!

1. The device is unlocked. Check.

2. At the new ATT BIS site, enter the PIN for the device and IMEI, and setup the email accounts.

You will be in biz.

The biggest downside is that AT&T turned off my GPS on the device!

Huh? No, they just disable BB Maps. Best thing to do is just get Google Maps, way better anyway.

Make sure you cancel your T-Mo BIS account before you try to set one up with ATT. Just canceling the service won't do it, you need to specifically cancel the BIS so the PIN and IMEI is released.
