Running 4.5.0.101 and on AllTel BIS, but I also had this issue on ATT 8820 4.5.0.81 (.83 something like that).

Blackberry Messenger wants to send "PIN updates" whenever I enable content protection, and subsequently reboot. EVERY time I do a battery pull (or use quickpull) it comes up with "PIN updates or delete your contact list". Also, BBM messages are not even delivered while in content protection mode.

Had a similiar problem with OS 4.5.0.89 from Alltel, I disabled Content Protection and did a battery pull everything went back to normal.. My issue was after I enabled Content Protection all my BBM contacts dissappeared and I could not receive messages, and other people had the option to accept me again even though I was in there BBM list already.
