Default Got to play with the 7105t today...

Please Login to Remove!

Got to play around with it and try it out for a bit this afternoon.. tis quite good! Surprisingly so. The new screen on it is really somethin else and I was rather impressed. Buttons have a nice feel to them and it feels good, if not a bit cheap-looking w/ the chrome. The black and silver looks good though, alot more professional-looking than my 00'. The ridged keys will be nice I think too.. wish i could have bought it too-- no money yet, lol. Will I upgrade my 7100t to the '5? Dunno yet. But the screen is bright and vibrant, rim was not lying.. did the outdoor test, and it still washes a bit, but you can most def. read it and actually USE the thing outside in direct sunlight. Why didn't RIM fix this first and foremost?! sigh.

Yep, that'd be right. It's worth it I think.. I'll probably replace my 00 with it.. decided i can justify buying the 8700 if tmo ever gets it even w/ buying a 7105. If the fixes are anywhere near what they say, then it'll be worth it.

fully qualified upgrades, meaning current TMO customers who have been with TMO for a certain period of time?

Other than the enhanced display and different cosmetic treatment, what else is different about 7105 as opposed to the 7100t?

Thanks in advance.

not a ton of difference, enhanced keypad bigger send and end buttons. it can now receive pictures, download and save a wallpaper. duel back light (like the 7290) cool silver/black color. I was really hoping for enhanced reception, but its a no go, similar to the 7100 good if you are in a good area but tough for the marginal areas. Over all a really nice unit
