8830 internet/browser connection problem?

Default 8830 internet/browser connection problem?

hey guys... my friend is currently traveling, and her internet connection on her 8830 is not working. bbm, emails, and everything else are fine. is there anything she can do to fix the problem from the phone? she's already tried a battery pull, but that did not work.

she's driving from LA to montana and is now in utah. but, the internet has been out since last night before she left.

I had a similar problem with my old 8330 when I travelled with. Rebooting the device (take the battery out for 30sec and put it back in) helped restore the internet connection on it.

By internet do you mean tethering or BlackBerry broweser?

If its the BlackBerry browser try to resend the service books. Options - advanced options - host routing table hit the menu key and choose "register"

I always resend my service books when having browsedr issues, usually alwaysa a quick fix......

If on BIS, have your service books resent and all will be solved.
