Default 8820 losing emails.

Please Login to Remove!

I keep losing my emails, they seem to remain in the folders for a short time, next time I open them, they are gone. Saving the messages works okay.
I use notifiers to remind that an email has arrived, sometime the notifer rings, but there is no email, I mention this just in case it means something. More often that not, emails arrive at desktop PC and BB. Any help would be appreciated.

Options -> Status, how much file free do you have?

Do a battery pull and then check the file free again.

After you pulled the battery, how much free space do you have?

Well, you should have sufficient free memory. Do you have any applications that you run constantly, in addition to the core BB apps?

Actually that is on the low side after a battery pull. Make sure you have deleted any media, ringtones or unused applications off of the BB.

When a BB runs out of memory, it starts deleting messages, texts and call logs :(

Obviously better - Are there any installed languages that you don't need?
14 mb is good. Closer to 20 is better

No, I had deleted them some time ago, not because I knew this, but as I did not need them. I do not know anything about memory on the BB, does the Media Card store anything other than Media. Thanks again.

17.5 is fine. As long as it is above 12, it should be OK.

Do you have extra themes that you downloaded on your device?

Is 5 what it should be set to? I have conflicting information with 5 vs. 15mb.

I am having this problem also. The functional problem is I have way to many contacts on the phone. What is annoying me is I have a 4 GB SD card in the memory and we are talking about 5MB on the actual phone. Seems like there should be a programming fix.
