Default 7250 unable to receive/place calls after syncing.

I have been trying to resolve this issue for weeks now, be it browsing through forums or on the phone with various support companies without much progress.

I had this problem once before, but I was able to swap out the defective unit with a new one and that fixed it, but now that is not the case.

Currently I have a 7250 where the sound (earpiece and microphone) will cut out once it is sync'ed to a computer using Outlook 2003. If I do a hard reset then it will bring back the sound and it works properly until sync'ed once more.

Originally I had thought that replacing it and swapping it out would resolve the issue, but even with a brand new replacement the problem came back within an hour. This leads me to believe that the there is either a setting that is being carried over from the various profiles or some corruption in Outlook causing the instability. I can not find any information about this occuring and everyone I have talked to seems about as lost as I am on the topic.

Keep in mind that I have 9 other 7250's and they are not having any issues. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Default I had a similar problem

On my Verizon 7250 last week, after I disconnected my Jabra Freespeak Bluetooth headset, the receive and transmit audio on the Blackberry wouldn't work. Although I could make and receive telephone calls, I couldn't hear the caller and they couldn't hear me.

I soft-rebooted (ALT, CAP, DELETE), no luck.

I did a hard reboot by removing the battery; no luck the first time. On the second or third try, the audio was restored, but only temporarily, for one or two phone calls. Then the audio stopped working again on subsequent calls.

Wondering if the Blackberry's audio circuitry might be confused over Bluetooth issues, I went into OPTIONS, BLUETOOTH, and completely disabled the bluetooth.

Did a hard reboot again, and all was back to normal.

Go figure... (I haven't used the Bluetooth feature since)

Default

The phone does have a bluetooth headset, but I have not enabled it again since the last hard reset. (or on the new phone for that matter)

I am waiting to see if any of the other phone begin to act up with their headsets, but so far nothing.

Will look more into the headsets though. Thanks.
