On my Verizon 7250 last week, after I disconnected my Jabra Freespeak Bluetooth headset, the receive and transmit audio on the Blackberry wouldn't work. Although I could make and receive telephone calls, I couldn't hear the caller and they couldn't hear me.
I soft-rebooted (ALT, CAP, DELETE), no luck.
I did a hard reboot by removing the battery; no luck the first time. On the second or third try, the audio was restored, but only temporarily, for one or two phone calls. Then the audio stopped working again on subsequent calls.
Wondering if the Blackberry's audio circuitry might be confused over Bluetooth issues, I went into OPTIONS, BLUETOOTH, and completely disabled the bluetooth.
Did a hard reboot again, and all was back to normal.
Go figure... (I haven't used the Bluetooth feature since)
