Same capacity as the factory standard, or is there an extended life one yet?

Same capacity as factory. I'm not sure how likely it is for RIM to have an extended capacity version... The only one they have done is for Nextel and that's becasue Nextel wanted it to match the performance of other BB handhelds... the Direct Connect is a battery hog.

well there is room for a thicker battery..... maybe we should invent one ;0

Isn't the 7100 battery the same as that is used in a few Nokia phones? What are the specs on those batteries (and do they have extended life versions) vs. the 7100t's in Mah?

They are similar... but not the same and can't be used.

The Nokia Batteries have 3 terminals and the BB battery has 4... physically they look the same... I think RIM did that on purpose. I would have
