What is the battery life of a BlackBerry 7290? How does it compare to the 7280?

I hope it's in line or better than my 7780. I was expecting a negative when I had purchased it being bigger with a brighter backlit and all. No issues at all, I can go close to 4 days without a charge. If the 7290 is in line with that I'll be happy...

How does Bluetooth effect battery life on the 7290?

If you use the two stage backlight a lot, it drains fast. I know that probably seems obvious, but my battery went dead for the first time ever last night. Oddly enough, it takes a while to charge up before the radio will even turn back on.

I would image that more important to the device type is how much and what you use it for. I find that the newer devices actually are more efficient with battery life; however, because they have more features you end up sucking up more mAh using the extra features.

Kind of like widening the highway then adding more on/off ramps, you just end up with more traffic.

I have had the bluetooth turned on all the time and use the backlight quite often, and I seem to always get a full days use out of it. All day and into the night. I usually end up plugging it into USB on the PC at night anyway so it charges. The battery life is more than adequate to me.
