I know some people are not fans of a cradle but I like to keep my desk void of random wires. Does anyone know if a charging synch cradle is available or in the works?

I have not seen any cradle on the list of future items... if one comes it will be passive like the 62xx/72xx.

How long does it take to fully charge a battery using you rexternal charger..say if it were completely discharged.

Is it faster than having the phon epulgged in?

BTW When the 7100t is plugged into the PC ia USB does it charge the battery significantly or is it more to keep the battery as is

Thanks

The external charger will kick the battery into gear faster than the USB-to-PC route. In fact if the battery is completely gone the USB-to-PC method won't charge the battery.

The external should have a 100% in 4 hours. 80% in about 90-120 minutes.
