Default Bluetooth Logo Gone?

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone help me out? Recently I upgraded to my 7100t to the 4.0.2.49 and after the upgrade my Bluetooth Icon in the tools window is now gone. I can still disable/enable the bluetooth by going into the bluetooth section of settings, but in the past all I had to do is click on the Icon in the tools menu. Can someone tell me if you have had the same problem and how to get this logo back?

Thanks,
Dave Weaver

You have to pair your BT headset up again with the BB. Once it is paired, the icon should reappear in the tools folder.

Pairing didn't help, how do you find out if it is hidden?

Hold down the ALT key in the lower left hand corner and click the trackwheel. Select "Show All" and any hidden icons will reappear.

Odd thing,,, I just checked and I do not have a Bluetooth icon either. I had overlooked that. I do not know why mine disappeared either. And I know the show all trick and that did not help either.

I think after a certain amount of time with out using it it disappears, you should be able to go into the options and disable bluetooth and then re-enable it. Then Do a power cycle.

If you don't have a paired device the bluetooth icon will not show....
If you have a paired device and no icon, the icon is hidden...
If you have a paired device, there are no hidden icons, and you do not have the bluetooth icon then you have a problem!
